 STORAGE SILOS

SILO STORAGE SYSTEM

All our Silo Systems are equipped with internal static and dynamic pressure protection, along with an optional pressurizing system, eliminates all possibilities of product contamination. Both technical and observation methods are used to assure that each Silo installation provides our customer with a damage-free closure.

The design was thought to maximize the Storage Capacity per square foot of floor space and as a reliable closure storage option replacing totes and Gaylords, which require a large recurring investment in containers, high foot-traffic, human risks associated with the handling of the product, and more.

BENEFITS

  • Production increase.
  • No damaged closures.
  • Low cost = Fast payback.
  • A State-Of-The-Art Design.
  • Complete Turn-Key System:
    1. Silos
    2. Pneumatic Conveyors
    3. Lights-off Operation Control
    4. Closure Unscrambler
    5. Installation

The system guarantees First In First Out (FIFO) operation with product traceability.Optionally a module can be placed in quarantine for later delivery to the production line.

    COMPONENTS

    LOADING

A set of pneumatic conveyors feed the silos from the top. The caps are received by a patented cyclone system that allow the caps to slow down when they arrive and lowers them into the silos. Caps are guaranteed no Angel Hair due to the system push/pull operation.

    STORAGE

The system is composed by one or several modular silos. The capacity of storage can be easily increased at a later date by adding modules to match future production requirements. We have several types of silos with different sizes and capacities.

    UNLOADING

A Bulk Conveyor System receives the closures from the Silo(s) and transports them towards an orienter or lining machine. The number of closures unloaded from the Silo is based of the production line demand.
